New Ambulance and Delivery Service
1st August 2007

Our new practice ambulance is arriving in August. Specifically kitted out for our veterinary needs, it will extend sevices available to you-
-collection and delivery service for pets
We are open 8am till 8pm for dropping off and collection of day-surgery patients, but there are still times when you may need a helping hand with transport. The ambulance can be booked to pick up your pet from home, or deliver him or her home later in the day. Charges start at £12 per journey, and advance notice is required. (We are unable to transport humans as well due to 'taxi' legislation.)
-house visits by nurses as well as veterinary surgeons
Daytime home visits are now possible by a nurse as well as one of our vets. This service may be used for example for post-operative checks, dressing changes, repeat injections, etc.
-delivery service for diets, prescriptions and other pet health products.
We now offer to deliver any item of diet or medication to your home. Leaflets are available from the receptionist, but this is a free service for orders over £45 within our main practice area (5 mile radius of our hospital), or £3 delivery charge for deliveries of less than £45. Orders can be made by phoning our orderline 0115 9490759
