National Pet Month Doggy Walk

Our doggy walk at Trent Lock in late April went waggily! Well over 100 dogs enjoyed a beautiful trail around the Cranfleet Lock area, with no mishaps. The RSPCA brought three dogs along for the walk and had a stand present.

The three were representative of many needing loving homes. The event raised £200 for the Derby RSPCA and a big thank you goes to the RSPCA staff, the Ashfield House staff and all who came and made the day a good one. The weather was perfect, and the trail ended at the Navigation Inn- one of a few dog friendly pubs we are lucky to have in the area.
