Dog Thefts on the increase

Saturday 12th July 2008

BBC1 news gave out a warning to dog owners this morning. There has been a recent rise in dog thefts in the UK. The breeds most at risk are

  • Springer Spaniels
  • Jack Russell Terriers
  • Yorkshire Terriers
  • Boxers
  • Labrador Retrievers

Having your pet identichipped with a tag hanging from its collar showing that your dog is yours is one deterrent to would-be thieves. See our link on identichipping your dog.
