Surgery
Obviously, we perform all routine surgery such as neuterings and 'repair work'. More complicated work such as orthopaedics, cancer removal, eye surgery etc are also catered for. For very specialist work, we will discuss referral to a University centre.
We take great care with our surgery and have modern protocols, which include fast recovery anaesthesia, caring nursing and anti-MRSA measures.
From July 2008 we are able to offer the option of laser surgery. Lasers can be used for procedures difficult with conventional surgery. laser surgery can also be used for routine operations where it can have added benefits:
- precise surgery
- less swelling
- less pain
- less bleeding
- reduced risk of infection
- quicker recovery.
