John Oleshko was fortunate enough to be able to attend the World Veterinary Dermatology Congress in Hong Kong last month. This was an international meeting of scientists and vets to discuss and learn about advances in skin disease care in animals.
The programme was excellent, and the practice aims to continually improve quality of care by investing in education such as this. As well as lectures there were practical sessions, including microscopy workshops. The support of Novartis for sponsorship is gratefully acknowledged.
The photos show John outside the International Conference Centre in Hong Kong (it was sad to see the sign there though), and the other photo is of the only cat seen on the trip-moving fast on a Chinese house roof. Dogs were common, but mainly Tibetan spaniels or similar.
